Fido has been a game changer for us since adding another dog to the family. I can enjoy a clean yard for the grandkids without the hassle of scooping regularly myself. Technicians are friendly and professional.

Renee

Great customer service. I was having trouble getting the poop scooped before the landscapers came weekly. Fido was able to rearrange their schedule so their technician could handle the cleanup for me. Very happy customer!!

Frequently Asked Questions

During the sign up process we collect your personal information relevant to the scooping services and payment. You will receive a verification email with information regarding your initial clean up date and recurring services if applicable. The technician will arrive within a predetermined window on your service day, they will enter the yard and walk a grid like pattern. All waste will be removed from the property with the technician. They will secure any gate upon exit and leave a job completed sticky note. It’s that easy!

At Fido we want to ensure the safety of both your pets and our technicians. In order to decrease the risk of your pet escaping the yard upon the technician entering and exiting and to allow our technicians to work as efficiently as possible we ask all pets remain indoors during your service window. However, we understand some exceptions must be made to this policy. We have pets too and realize with schedules, senior pets and puppies this is not always possible. In the event you must let your dog(s) out during the service window please first check if you have already received a completed post it- in this case the yard is clean and free to be used. If you have not yet been serviced please check that the technician is not in the yard prior to letting your pet(s) out, or that the truck is not parked in front of your home. If your pets are in the yard when the technician arrives do not worry, they will not leave without attempting to contact you and allow you time to get the pups back indoors.

At Fido we believe pet ownership should be accessible to everyone. If you cannot pay using our digital options please call us at (815) 348-7441 for our pay in person options.

We offer various methods to be contacted prior to services starting including call/text ahead, email, having the technician knock or ring the doorbell prior to services starting. There are no additional costs for these options!

Services can be paused at any time, however if dogs are still using the yard during the time services are paused and you chose to reactivate the services at a later date you may be charged an accumulation fee. Our technicians are trained to scoop in all conditions, including snow coverage. Keeping your services active costs less than pausing and acquiring an accumulation fee when reactivating your account.

Our technicians are trained to prioritize quality over speed. However, we understand that waste may occasionally be missed. In this case please give us a call at (815) 348-7441 and let us know the technician did not complete the job. Our customer service team will contact you to schedule a rescoop. In some cases the technician may be able to return the same day, it is our policy that the job be completed to satisfaction within 24 hours. If there is an area of the yard that seems to be consistently missed please speak to a customer service representative so the technician can be informed. It is the customers responsibility to ensure all service areas are accessible, technicians are not authorized to move objects (trampolines, children’s playsets, etc.) in the yard to access scoop zones.
